I have a desktop setup with multiple displays, a WD MyCloud server, pringers, scanners, etc.. My wife has been sharing this by having 2 accounts on the Pavilion desktop but this is becoming a problem because she uses a HP laptop most of the time. I want to install a docking station, front-ended with a switch to make this work. My Pavilion is very old so I will be buying a new desktop solution. Are there any whitepapers or suggestions out there about any pitfalls. My area of uncertainty is about how to configure both the laptop and the new PC so that both can drive the monitors and access the internet at high data and video rates.
