When I run the Short Drive Self-Test on my 😧 HDD I get an error U0D8RK-992B90-MFPS3F-60V103.

I only use it for data and could move the data to another/new HDD, but is the data reliable?

I have three HDD installed and now two of them are giving me Short Drive Self-Test errors and one passes.

Hi:

Below is the failure report generated by the code you posted, minus your PC's serial number.

A lot of the code goes into producing your PC's serial number.

Failure Information
Failure ID Tag Checksum HP Serial Number Test Date Failure Code Device Includes Error Message
U0D8RK-992B90-MFPS3F-60V103OK0000010/15/22303StorageFloppy Drive, Hard Drive, Memory Drive, Optical Drive, SCSI, Tape DriveHard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure

I always suggest that you replace the drive when you get a 24-character hard drive failure code.

However, I guess you can continue on as long as you have any files you don't want to lose safely backed up.
