Short Drive self-test on my Pavilion Desktop 570-p017c failed. It recommended me to replace my hard drive.
Error code: 9G9UXW-912A6K-XD4CQK-60VJ13
Can you please point me to the instructions on doing this?
1. What hard drive do I need?
2. Where can I find step by step instructions on how to replace the hard drive?
3. Steps to reinstall Windows after replacing hard drive.
My PC is running okay right now (though slow when I start it up) and my files are backed up to external drive and/or cloud.
Thanks.

You can download the WIN 10 onto USB3.0 thumb drive. I prefer a 16GB. Click Download tool now for the file. Then copy it to the USB thumb drive. Follow instructions for WIN 10 install on another PC.
How to remove, Upgrade and Service manual to replace the hard drive. Suggest a WD Black 1TB.
1) Boot from the USB device.
2) Let WIN 10 format the drive. DO not pre-format the drive.
3) Have an internet connection. PC will auto activate.
