The Lincs motherboard does have an M.2 socket 3 port. It has been verified to be NVMe.
Changing to an NVMe SSD is 6 times faster than the existing 1TB hard drive. I would suggest a 1TB NVMe as you could then clone the 1TB HD to the 1TB NVMe SSD without an hassle. If you chose a 500GB-512GB MVMe SSD you will need to make sure the occupied GB is less than 450 GB.

Then disconnect the HD, and reboot into BIOS to change the BIOS to boot from the NVMe. Now your able to verify the clone worked. You can then reconnect the 1TB HD, format the 1TB HD and use it as a data drive, or purchase a new 2 or 4TB HD for data.

Thanks a lot 🙂
but please can you give me examples for storage products to upgrade to?
when i disassembled the device in order to see the available slots to upgrade, i found m.2 slot which the WiFi card installed only.
there is another free slot under the display card (GTX 1650) ..
Is this free slot the M.2 socket 3 port??
Thanks in advance 🙂
