Have updated with all latest system drivers and tried MS update troubleshooter and it indicates no problem. Update gets stuck at 61% for Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2

Hi @TampaGuy1,
Welcome to HP Support Community!
We noticed that this thread hasn't had any updates in a while since your original post; while this is rare, we didn't want this post to remain unanswered, so, here's the solution to your query. We hope it helps you and everyone viewing this post 😊
-
Restart the Update Process:
- Sometimes simply restarting the update process can help. Cancel the update, restart your computer, and try the update again.
-
Free Up Disk Space:
- Ensure that you have enough free space on your hard drive. Windows updates require a significant amount of free space to download and install updates.
-
Disable Antivirus Software:
- Temporarily disable any third-party antivirus software that could be interfering with the update process.
1. In Windows, search for and open System Configuration. 2. Click Startup > Open Task Manager. 3. Find the antivirus software in the list, select it, and then click Disable.
-
Perform a Clean Boot:
- A clean boot can help identify if a background program is causing the update issue.
1. In the System Configuration window, click the Services tab. 2. Check the Hide all Microsoft services box, and then click Disable all. 3. Click Startup > Open Task Manager. 4. Click each enabled startup item, select Disable, and then close Task Manager. 5. In the System Configuration window, click OK and restart your computer.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved, and if you feel this reply was helpful, click “Yes”.
