Product: HP Omni 120 AIO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The hard drive in my HP Omni 120 AIO desktop has failed. It is a Seagate Barracuda ST 1000DM003.  It seems to be a disconinued model.  An alternative on offer is the ST 1000DM010.  Do you know whether I can use one of these are a direct replacement?

Hi:

 

You can install any 3.5" desktop hard drive you want.

 

Doesn't even have to be a Seagate.

 

For example:

 

https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Cache-Desktop-Drive-WD10EZEX/dp/B0088PUEPK/ref=sr_1_48?ie=UTF8&qid=15415...

 

 However, the Seagate ST1000DM010 would work fine too.
