I just wanted to share my successful upgrade story in regards to my HP Pavilion 570-033w desktop with Lubin Motherboard. I successfully installed a Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVME SSD as a boot/O.S. drive, installed a Corsair CX450 PSU, and a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 ti OC Low Profile 4GB GDDR5 128 Bit PCI-E GPU (part# GV-N105TOC-4GL). My motivation to do so was to improve my performance of Adobe Premiere and Reaper DAW. I searched quite a bit for information and did the install myself. I have no experience with working on computers and managed to perform these tasks without much hassle.
The only difficulty I had was the stubborn removal of the 24 pin ATX connector on the mother board. I have pretty strong hands, but couldn't get it to budge. I ended up using a pair of pliers to squeeze the retention clip while slowly and not too aggressively rocking it back and forth until I could get a very small flat head screwdriver in the seam of the connection. I slowly and gently pried along the seam to create a bit of lift while using the pliers to lift the 24 pin plastic connector.
