Pavilion Desktop - 570-p072l
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I have a HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p072l. I wish to add a graphics card to improve upon the on board Intel HD 630 graphics. I am not a gamer per se but i would play racing sims occasionally. My main aim is to improve performance for graphic design and 3d CAD applications.

I was looking at something in the line of the  GTX 1050 TI range. My computer has a 300 watt psu so i believe this runs fine without changing the power supply.

My question is - what fits? The space inside is really tight. It about 17cm from the back of the case to the DVD drive. Additionally i see there are 2 plugs on the mother board that are right where the card would sit.

@warrima

Any card longer than the area circled would strike the 24 pin main power socket.

Hi yes i agree. In my case the DVD drive also blocks a card in that area. I was thinking about something like the zotac gtx 1050 ti mini 4gb - as they are quite short. However i think it would hit the audio and USB plugs with its heat sink and fan.
