Good morning, accessing the HP website and entering the serial number of my PC I see that a BIOS update is available, but HP Support Assistant does not offer it to me. What should I do? Thank you

sorry i didn't give the link for HPSA

you can actually update by downloading from the drivers page
But I do not recommend a bios update, if it is not necessary, if it goes wrong, the pc may not work at all, and it is difficult or impossible to go back!

Hello
the pc is equipped with this motherboard:

motherboard specifications, Lincs
therefore the SSID:

SSID: 843B
This corresponds to what you have certainly found:

HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update (ROM Family SSID 843B)

F.40 Rev.A

If Hp assistant does not offer it, either the pc already has this version, or maybe you have to wait a little!
For the moment does not change anything!
Check directly the version in place

Updating the BIOS (Basic Input Output System)

Thanks Prométhée,

my BIOS version is the previous one, I am waiting for HP Support Assistant to propose it to me in the future. But if the discharge manually is fine?

Thanks again for the reply

happy New Year
