Support for SSD - hp compaq elite 8300 microtower

I have a hp compaq elite 8300 microtower, please let me know if the Model supports for 1TB/ 500GB SSD. Since the CPU has SATA connection ports. So will it support Sata Port SSD with 1TB Or 500GB

Yes, the PC can support a 500 GB or 1 TB 2.5" SATA SSD.

You will need a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter to mount the smaller 2.5" SSD where the 3.5" drives install.

I use this one because it is the same size as a 3.5" hard drive:

To use the SATA SSD as the boot drive, you have to connect it to the SATA 0 data port.
