I've got an HP Omen 25L desktop PC with a hana 8876 motherboard and the orginal gpu that it came with, an rtx 3060, if I get a stronger psu(like 750W instead of the current 500W) could I replace it with a rx 7700xt gpu, if not what else would work right, and how would I go about replacing it?

Greetings @CrossbowCat317

Welcome to the HP Forum.

A 7700 XT might fit in the 25L case. EDIT: the 7700 XT reference card (at Tech Power up- below) is 5.3 inches wide. The 25L case is limited to 4.52 inch graphics cards. Don't know if you could find a 7700 XT that will fit in the 25L case.

This card would have to be a dual fan, dual slot card. You could not do a triple fan GPU in your PC's case.

You'll have to shop cards, check each perspective card's: dimensions and PSU requirements, and then check case dimensions (L X H X W).

This Link shows Nvidia 3060 reference card specs. This Link shows AMD 7700 XT reference card specs.

The AMD reference 7700 XT has a 245 watt TDP. Tech Powerup recommends a minimum 550 watt PSU. This card requires two 8 pin PSU connections to power the card.

Check this Video on how to upgrade a GPU in a 25L case. Check this Video on how to upgrade a power supply in a 25L case.

Would this fit? https://www.powercolor.com/product-detail44.htm#list-item-3

On the website it shows the board dimensions as 109mm which should fit, but 125mm wide with bracket.

The PowerColor RX 7700 XT @ 109 mm should fit in the 25L case without the bracket

Check this card's specs at Tech Powerup.

I have a Power Color RX 6700 XT. Very nice card. Good 1440p gaming on many games.
