Swapping Memory

Is the memory compatible to swap between a HP ProDesk 600 G4 and the G5,  as user wants to expand his G5 from 12 to 16 and we have some old G4's available.

That is unlikely, but I can not be more specific because you did not take the time to identify the "G5" completely.

HP ProDesk 600 G4 is a proper identification

G5 isn't really useful for finding the hardware configuration or memory module requirements.

Oh I apologize Erico that I didn't list it - the G5 is the same model only the different generation - HP ProDesk 600 G5

Both use DDR4 2666MT/s Non-ECC Unbuffered DIMM CL19 1RX modules, so yes.

The memory will be swappable into the Prodesk 600 G5 SFF system.

For best results do not mix and match.

Use pairs of the same capacity memory modules from the Prodesk  600 G4 desktop to install to the  Prodesk 600 G5 SFF.
