Hi everyone, I'm a bit frustrated. My computer suddenly stopped displaying video after updating to Windows 11 and only shows a corrupted BIOS message. I went online to look for the BIOS for my computer in the downloads section, but surprise! My PC is only 3 years old and there's nothing available for download. Can anyone help me find the BIOS for my PC? It's an HP TG01-1018ns.

Thanks

Hi:

From the information I could find, your PC comes with a HP 'Baker' motherboard which has a BIOS SSID of 8767.

I was unable to find any drivers in the usual place I look for them which would be the base model TG01-1000i (i- for Intel) PC model series.

Fortunately, I was able to find the latest BIOS update HP released for the 8767 motherboard SSID at the link below (version F.54):

The link below explains how to create a BIOS recovery flash drive.

I've already provided the BIOS file you need, which is good for either W10 or W11.

Here is how to use the BIOS recovery flash drive after it has been successfully created:

After you create the USB BIOS recovery drive, follow the instructions that show up after the USB recovery drive has been successfully created.

1. Power off the device to be recovered.

2. Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port.

3. Power on the device.

4. The device may reboot up to 3 times with indicator lights on the keyboard flashing, or the screen appearing blank for short time.

Hopefully, that will fix the problem for you.

Thank you so much for your reply. My PC is at the office, so I'll download the file tomorrow and try it. I'll let you know if it works. Thanks again

You're very welcome.

Hello again, I downloaded the file and installed the software on the USB drive. I plugged it into the PC, and when I turned it on, it showed a blue screen saying the BIOS was corrupted and it would restart. After restarting, there are no signs that it's doing anything; no blinking lights on the PC, no keyboard lights, nothing. Maybe it's not the right BIOS? I'm attaching some photos of the motherboard in case you can help me again.

I installed the software you sent me on another USB drive with an LED, since the previous ones didn't have one, and the following happens: when I turn it on by pressing Windows + B, it shows a message that the BIOS is corrupt and that it will be reinstalled, the USB LED blinks several times and the PC restarts. Once it restarts, the screen remains with the message "no signal," the USB drive LED starts blinking for 3 or 4 seconds and then turns off, and there is no further progress.

Hi:

It's the right file for the motherboard info you posted in your screenshot...a Baker motherboard.

My understanding is you power off the PC, plug in the USB flash drive, and power on the PC.

You don't press any keys.

Just power on the PC and the PC is supposed to automatically detect the BIOS files on the flash drive.

If that is what you did, unfortunately, I don't know what the problem could be.

It's probably not fixable.

I have done what you told me, the message about corrupted BIOS appears and that on the next restart BIOS will be installed, it restarts automatically and for a few seconds the LED of the USB drive blinks and then turns off, it's as if the USBs no longer have power since neither the USB drive lights up nor do the mouse or keyboard have power
