I'm trying to upgrade the Ram on my Victus Desktop - TG02-0325m from 16gb (2x8gb) to 64gb (2x32gb).

When I install both sticks and try to turn the computer on the front lights up and I can hear it running however nothing appears on monitor and it eventually turns off.

I have tested both sticks individually and the computer boots just fine with only 1 32gb stick installed, yet it won't boot with both 32gb installed.

Any idea why that is? Both crucial and other websites state the computer is compatible and upgradeable to up to 64gb ram.

@PVictusNE , welcome to the Community.

According to HP and Crucial's websites it appears that the maximum memory is 32 GB (2x16 GB).  HP has their motherboards made to their specifications.  This means that they are not necessarily the same as retail boards.  The way HP gets their price points is by limiting the amount of memory for each model.  This would explain the discrepancies in the different websites.

Hey Old geekster, appreciate your response. After further research I was able to find exactly what your said on the crucial website.

So you happen to know if the CPU is upgradable?

You are very welcome, @PVictusNE!

If you look in the link that I provided to HP's order page for your computer you will see that the only other processor that is -listed is the AMD Ryzen 7-5700G.  If you already have this processor no more upgrades are available.
