I just want to know what are some good options to switch my i5 to i7 or other optional and if going to i7 12700f is better than going to i7 12700

the difference is that the intel i7-12700f does not have integrated graphics.

 

It has a Reno2 motherboard, the certified and recommended processors are as follows

Now there is a RenoR2 that has the same H670 chipset and supports more powerful processors, I think your Reno2 can support those processors but it is something you should evaluate.
