First you should update yourBIOS to the latest version to make sure the 4790K is supported. The PSU needs to be upgraded to handle the more hungry CPU plus GPU. I am actually using 2 power supplies. The original one is used just to power the motherboard since it is a non-standard connector. For a case I used this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N9WAXEX/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (thermaltake f31 suppressor) which is more than big enough. I had to do some modification to get the cpu cooler installed. Basically I cut the threaded parts off of motherboard standoffs and used them behind the motherboard to screw into and hold the cooler in place. This case is very useful if you want to use a GPU because you can mount a gpu vertically (not mounting it vertically will cover all the SATA ports). Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions.
