I am interested in upgrading the RAM on my HP ENVY All-in-One - 32-a1055 (3UR18AA#ABA). Based on the Service tear down for the HP Envy 32 AIO (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQwezVOzivk&list=RDCMUCHranSHHa1qo6Pg4JStkL7Q&start_radio=1&t=0), I will need a replacement double sided stretch release tape (which I believe is part no L83912-001) in order to close the rear cover back up. I have not been able to locate this tape anywhere on the internet including the HP Parts Store. Any suggestions as to where this can be procured?

@surd9 , welcome to the forum.
I suggest that you contact BestBuy's Geek Squad to see if they can furnish the tape for you. They sell and upgrade a lot of HP computers and laptops. If not, check with any computer shops in your area. I am certain that other manufacturers use the same or similar tape.

Thank you for the additional information, @surd9!
I am in the same boat. The closest BestBuy to me is 50 miles away. You might be able to give them a call to see if they can at least tell you what will work. I have no doubt they will know.
Good luck!

I called Geek Squad tech support yesterday at the Albuquerque Best Buy. Unfortunately, they were not able to come up with anything that would work. It would be so much simpler if the HP Parts Store offered it on their website.

@surd9, sorry for the bad tip! I felt certain that BB would have the answer. Have you tried local computer shops that sell HP laptops. Surely, they do repairs, also. I am running out of suggestions! 😉
