I keep having this problem. The USB-C connector is loose and very easily dislodged, so I'll often discover it's not charging and the battery is low.

I've tried plugging another USB-C cable into the computer and it fits snugly with a bit of a click and requires a bit of force to remove it. I've seen a number of other threads, that this is common. The laptop is not too old and I hate to buy another cord when the other side of the connector works fine. Maybe a faulty cable?

You might want to invest in a magnetic USB-C adapter

https://www.google.com/search?q=magneetic+usbc+adapter

Maire sure it can handle 65 watts minimum if that is your power supply rating.

I have been using the "20 pin" 100 watt one for my Samsung tablet.

Make sure you used an approved cable.

If the problem is the connector and not the cable then check warrantee status
