Hi @AmirAliAbouelma,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the left button on your HP Mouse Creator 930 is sticking, there are a few steps you can take before considering disassembly.

Quick Solutions

  • Clean the Surface: Sometimes dirt or debris can cause the button to stick. Use compressed air to blow out any dust around the button. You can also gently clean the surface with a soft cloth dampened with a little rubbing alcohol.
  • Check for Obstructions: Ensure there's no visible obstruction or debris around the button that might be causing it to stick.
  • Reset the Mouse: If your mouse has a reset button, try using it. Sometimes, resetting the mouse can resolve minor issues.

Disassembly (If Cleaning Doesn't Help)

If cleaning the surface doesn't fix the issue, and you decide to disassemble the mouse, here’s a general guide:

  • Gather Tools: You’ll typically need a small screwdriver (often Phillips or Torx), and possibly tweezers.
  • Remove Screws: Look for screws on the bottom of the mouse. Sometimes they are hidden under stickers or rubber feet, so you may need to gently peel them back to access the screws.
  • Open the Mouse: Carefully pry open the mouse shell. Be cautious as there might be delicate cables inside.
  • Clean the Button Mechanism: Once inside, you should be able to access the button mechanism. Use compressed air or a small brush to clean any debris. If necessary, use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab to clean around the button.
  • Reassemble the Mouse: After cleaning, carefully reassemble the mouse by reversing the disassembly steps. Make sure all screws are tightly secured and that no internal components are left loose.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
