HP ENVY AiO 27-cp0701

HP ENVY AiO 27-cp0701 The inductive charger built into the base of the computer stopped working. I enabled WIRELESS CHARGING in the BIOS, as stated in the instructions, but it still doesn't work.

I thought that the charger's operation might be related to the power mode, which is set to Highest efficiency.

I checked it by changing the power to Balanced mode, but there is no difference.

I have enabled/disabled wireless charging several times as ColinR66 suggests, but it also does not work.

Wireless charging has stopped working forever.
What else can I do? Please help

Hi @mika41

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

1. Check for Interference:

  • Make sure there are no objects or cases on the device you are trying to charge that might interfere with wireless charging. The surface should be clean and free of debris.

2. Test with Different Devices:

  • Try charging a different compatible device to see if the issue is with the charger itself or the device you're trying to charge.

3. Inspect the Charger Area:

  • Examine the inductive charging area for any visible damage or debris. Clean the area gently with a soft cloth to ensure there’s no obstruction.

4. Check Power Supply:

  • Ensure that the All-in-One is connected to a functional power outlet. If possible, try a different outlet to rule out any power issues.

5. Reset BIOS Settings:

  • If you've made multiple changes in the BIOS, consider resetting the BIOS to default settings. Restart your computer, enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F10 during boot), and select the option to restore defaults.

6. Update Drivers and BIOS:

  • Visit the HP support website to check for any driver or BIOS updates that might resolve the issue. Install any updates available. click here

7. Power Cycle the Computer:

  • Turn off the computer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 60 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on again.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
