This PC has been by far the worst experience Ive ever had with a computer. I must say I will not be purchasing any HP products ever again after this one. It should be criminal to market this as a gaming pc. Locked BIOS? On a gaming PC?

Well, my friend, it sounds like you may have had unrealistic expectations or didn't fully research the HP Pavilion Gaming TG01-2000a’s limitations before purchasing. The Pavilion Gaming series is designed as an entry-level to mid-range gaming solution, not an enthusiast-grade system with extensive customization options.
A few key points to consider:
Locked BIOS – HP (and most major OEMs like Dell and Lenovo) locks down BIOS settings in consumer-grade prebuilt systems. This is standard practice for system stability, warranty support, and security. Enthusiasts who want full BIOS control should opt for custom-built systems or brands like ASUS ROG, MSI, or Gigabyte AORUS, which offer more tweakable motherboards.
"Gaming PC" Label – While it's marketed as a gaming PC, that doesn't mean it's a high-end machine. The Pavilion Gaming series is budget-friendly, meaning it's optimized for casual to mid-range gaming rather than high-end or competitive gaming. If you expected overclocking capabilities and premium components, you likely should have looked at an OMEN or a custom-built rig instead.
Research & Expectations – Based on your remarks, you likely failed checking reviews, specs, or community feedback before buying. Just a quicky search would have revealed that HP Pavilion Gaming desktops have limited BIOS options and use proprietary components, which might be a dealbreaker for enthusiasts.
Look, your frustration is understandable, especially if you expected a fully customizable experience. However, calling it "criminal" is melodramatic -honestly, it's more a case of mismatched expectations.
Kind Regards,
