Solved!
Thermal fan test failed
05-15-2021 06:21 PM - edited 05-15-2021 06:23 PM

Hello,
I will be contacting support after the weekend, but i thought i'd write on the forum anyway in the meantime.
This Omen 30L is 3 months old and already had quite a lot of black screens when gaming unfortunately.
I ran every check from within the BIOS now, and i got an error on the Thermal fan test. (CPU fan)
Has anyone else experienced this? It seemed to have gotten worse after a Windows update from 2 weeks ago.
Productname = 2N5R0EA#ABH

Well, after replacing the thermal fan and cooler (under warranty) the problem still existed;
Today after installing the F.17 bios everything works fine!
This BIOS update also seems to give som extra power to the RTX3080, and more BIOS options
