All that is listed is Windows (C). Typing takes forever. I have to slowly type using as much force I can. If I type normally, I have to constantly back up to edit. Skips letters or repeats leeeeeeeeeters. Drives me insane. HATE this computer.

@Boogermoma, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
I understand how frustrating it can be to have typing issues on your HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000a (2Z6C9AV). Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:
Keyboard Troubleshooting
Check Keyboard Connection:
- If you're using a wired keyboard, ensure that the USB connection is secure. Try unplugging and replugging the keyboard into a different USB port.
Try Another Keyboard:
- If possible, try using a different keyboard to determine if the issue is specific to your current keyboard.
Software Settings:
- Check for settings in Windows that might affect keyboard input or speed, such as Sticky Keys or Filter Keys. These can be adjusted in the Ease of Access settings.
- Go to Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard.
- Turn off any settings for Sticky Keys, Filter Keys, or other keyboard-related options.
Update Drivers:
- Ensure that your keyboard drivers are up-to-date. You can do this through Device Manager:
- Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Find your keyboard under Keyboards, right-click and select Update driver.
Inspect for Hardware Issues:
- Physically inspect the keyboard for any debris or damage that might affect key functionality. Use compressed air to clean out any dust or particles.
Check System Resource Usage:
- If your system resources are heavily used (CPU, RAM, disk usage), it might slow down responsiveness. Check Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to see if there are any applications consuming excessive resources and close them if necessary.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
