Product: HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2

Hi Hp,

I have received Thunderbolt Dock G2 from my organization, and I'm having trouble switching between the hp laptop and personal desktop. 
Is G2 docking station only compatible with laptop and does not work with desktop?

You are trying to use a dock for a function it is not meant for.

 

The dock is meant to allow one to use a laptop as a desktop by connecting it to one or more displays  w/HDMI(DisplayPort) and and other options/network/ laptop charging.

There is no compatibility for the thunderbolt dock G2 with any desktop PC.
