HP Z2 G5 Desktop Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello
I just bought a HP Z2 G5 Workstation.
After adding the two hard drives using the two empty slots ran the sata cable below the drives to the two sata 'storage' ports. As shown here:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06506661.pdf

I turn on the Z2 - nothing happened.

I removed the hard drives and the two sata cables. The computer booted as expected.
Obviously a mistake was made.

The motherboard board photos I see adjacent to the memory slots two 'sata power' ports.
I thought those to be for use of an optical drive.

How to connect two extra hard drives (data storage) via sata cable to the correct sata port?

Thanks for any advice!

On the motherboard diagram I see "Thunderbolt Board" what is that? I know Thunderbolt, do not know Thunderbolt Board.

@parvardigar1 -- in those images, #9 seems to be an 8-hole socket labelled "SATA Power", and #20 seems to be 4 SATA sockets.  Do you have a cable that connects into #9, and supplies power to all your SATA devices?
