HP Envy 750-003nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does anyone have the pinout for the Top Front Panel USB 3.0 connector situated on Top I/O Ports from HP Envy 750-003nl Case?

This USB 3.0  port have an active cable, with USB 3.0 redriver ICs inside?

Is there a pinout differrence between USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 cables?

Why i ask is because no matter cable attached (USB 3.0 to USB 2.0) to that cable port or plugged in directly on different motherboards is not working.

Have you tried different devices with the ports?

If nothing works, run a hardware test - extensive test and revert with the results.

1. Turn on the computer.

2. Immediately press the f2 key repeatedly, about once every second, until the UEFI menu opens.

When the UEFI menu opens, select the diagnostic test you want to run, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

And usually there is one cable that connects both USB 3.0 & 3.1 to the motherboard, however, we neither recommend nor support repairing the ICs inside or the cables inside the desktop.

Keep me posted.

Have a great day!

Cheers 🙂

Hi, thanks for answer...few months ago i was forced to replace the motherboard that was shipped with HP Envy Case because one sata port was broken  and i replaced with an ASUS Z97m-plus motherboard and when i pluged in the USB 3.0 cable don't do anything, not even an cable adapter from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 port not working.

The USB 3.1 port from ASUS motherboard works with another USB 3.0 front hub, so is not a setting from BIOS.

I have problem with only USB 3.0 from the internal port of motherboard not from rear USB 3.0 ports.

I don't have the motherboard layout/voltage information, I would personally suggest you contact our HP Support.
