I want to know what this button does. Whenever I press it, it seems like it closes everything but looking up task manager the programs are still engaged. It's not clear how I return to the previous state
Following from the post:

I'm also trying to figure out what the top left key on the keyboard does. I've tried entering the model number either:
HSA-A002K or HSA-AOO2K
HP website does not recognise it.
I've tried the barcode - did not work
I've tried another number with a box around it thinking it might be the serial number (it did not have S/N if front of the numbers) - did not work
I've tried a broader search of keyboard manuals 200 series but it does not have the info, just generic info.
I've tried HP to detect product - did not work, so cannot find driver as well
I've tried Virtual assistant - they were not able to recognise the model number.

Hi @vitality7623,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
The button you've highlighted appears to be a Switch to Desktop or Show Desktop button. It minimizes all open windows to display the desktop but keeps all programs running in the background. It's a shortcut designed to quickly clear your workspace and view the desktop.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!
