Hi! Need some urgent help as my laptop is giving me mixed information. I want to enable tpm 2.0 - in my Device Manager -> hidden devices -> security devices it says I have tpm 2.0. My systems information under the software environment also says the tpm has started. When i do tpm.msc it says i dont as well as the Powershell get-tpm ( it shows up as false with the ownership being true). I have pretty much done everything and of course, I went into my bios and there wasnt even an option to press tpm. I have a HP 15-da0024tx, intel core i5 8th gen and recently was able to get windows 11, however some applications require tpm 2.0. My bios is insyde f.47 and uefi mode. So, do i have a tpm or not? Or should I downgrade to windows 10? Would windows 10 work with tpm 2.0? I dont know if its recommended since theyre getting rid of windows 10 support so… any help would be great. Thank you
