Hello I am trying to upgrade my computers processor and graphics card. I want to upgrade it to a Nvidia GTX1050 4GB GDDR5 PCI Video Card - L04820-001 GPU Graphics Card with a Intel Core i5-7500 Processor (3.4 GHz, 4 Cores, LGA 1151) - SR335. I currently have a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz and an Intel(R) HD graphics 530. I have 8gb ram.
I know almost nothing about computers and want to know if I can upgrade with these

Here is the spec page for the HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Small Form Factor
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04802690
There are some graphics cards listed that will work with that PC.
Usually if the PC has a NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 installed the Nvidia GTX1050 should work, also. But research to find one that uses no more than 75w.
Here is the manual

You are correct in the power supply is 200w. I have not found any power supply upgrades that will work with the PC.
Here is a list of CPU's
Best CPUs for HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF upgrade:

Most OEM PC's will not allow the CPU upgrade to a next generation CPU because the BIOS needs an upgrade, however, please post the model number of the PC so it can be verified. Same with the graphics cards but need the power supply info, too.
Intel(R) HD graphics 530 is integrated graphics, so need the model number of the PC.

As changes in hardware, memory, video cards, and such, resetting the TPM allows the installation As for hardware power supplies almost any can be used that fit in the case there are many with 6 or 7 pin, black is ground. green is power, cream is power good, the replacement may have extra colors leave them alone so you won't have to insulate use a solder pick extract the conductors, and replace your old connector as far as processors go the only visible way is to replace the bios chip which will give you a new agesa code

It usually willl work if the pinouts are the most non oem manufacturers will offer bios upgrades on their websites. a lot depends on the chipset used on the motherboard I have seen some that remind me of laptops "school types" If you are a gamer You pay for the power I prefer working on desktops as everything is replaceable

Should I upgrade or not, SFF are mostly business computers, they are basicly not friendly to upgrade. The biggest drawback would be the case and power supply(good doorstop) Aftermarket parts abound for atx series cases you will find it easier to get cards for or you can get a laptop with a bad screen or battery just plug in the charger and it will run without a battery almost all have WIN 10 or 11keys
