I am trying to upgrade my PSU to a 400w or 600w but I can't seem to find any information on what product will be compatible. I want to upgrade it in order to get a better graphics card. What PSU out there is compatible with my 590-p0107c model?
Thank you!

@matthewm2028 , welcome to the forum.
Here is a list of all of the components in your computer on HP PartSurfer:
http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=5QA79AA
If you look at the PSU the HP Part # is L08660-800.
Here is a HP Knowledge Base chart that has all of the Lincs motherboards listed and the PSU's that are compatible with them:
As you will see, your computer model is not listed. However, it is my understanding that all of the PSU's in the chart are compatible with the Lincs motherboards. If you look at the Part # for your PSU at the top of the page, and follow it down the chart, you will see that there are no upgrades for it listed.

Hello, thank you for your reply! i see the part # you listed, but that is just the stock 180w psu. Are you saying that there is no aftermarket or HP psu that I can install for this computer? I am just trying to find a 400w or larger psu to put in there even if it is not made specifically for the model, as long as it will work with the motherboard.

You are welcome, @matthewm2028!
Unfortunately, the Lincs motherboard is proprietary. It only has a 4-pin ATX power connector instead of the standard 24-pin connector. This means only HP PSU's will work with it. The chart that I provided is a complete list of the PSU's that will work with the Lincs motherboard. In your case, if you go across the page where your motherboard is listed, there are no upgrades shown.

Got it, I see what you are saying. Thank you for your research and input!
So would it work if I used, for instance, a EVGA 500w psu from Amazon that has a ton of universal connectors already installed in it? If for some reason it doesn't have a 4 pin ATX connector, couldn't I just get a 4 pin to 8 pin adapter for it also?

As the spreadsheet references, the Lincs or Sunflower motherboards are used in all the 590, 595, 690 series computers. The power headers on these boards are strictly proprietary. The use of any ATX style 24 pin PSU is not directly usable. It would require re-wiring, which the novice might mess-up.
The listed 400W and 500W are a direct fit, and have the required plugs.
Not sure what you mean by " If you look at the Part # for your PSU at the top of the page, and follow it down the chart, you will see that there are no upgrades for it listed".
With the 500W PSU, it is possible to use the AMD RX580 or the GTX 1060.
