Two Identical OS's

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion 590-p0024
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After cloning my HDD to a SSD I now have two identical drives and I can't get the system to boot with the SSD without going into the BIOS each time because there is no option to save the  change. I can't figure out how to get aroung this.

You can only have 1 drive that has a boot partition. Swap the cabling from the original HD to the new SSD 2.5" drive, and do not re-connect the 3.5" HD.

The new drive is a Samsung NVMe 970 EVO 2 - therefore there is no cable for it. It's not a problem to disconnect the old drive but I would like to use it. Do i have to wipe it clean somehow?

Unplug the 3.5" HD and verify the NVMe SSD is booting.  Then you can re-attach and format the 3.5" HD.

The drive I want to reformat is Disk 1 and as you can see it has partitions for 'Windows RE Tools' and 'Recovery D:' but the new SSD, Disk 0, does not have them even though I cloned it it from the HDD.

Are there any suggestions as to how to handle this? Do I just format the main partition (913.70 GB on the HDD)? Is that even possible?Screenshot (2).png
