Product: Elite 7300 MT
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi folks,

 

I have an Hp Elite 7300 MT with a Pegatron mobo and AMI bios v 7.12. I am fully aware that this bios does not support the new UEFI protocol which is required to install new video cads. 

 

I plan to upgrade to a GTX 1060, and I want to know how I can upgrade my bios so that it works with UEFI and I don't have to worry about finding a card that is legacy BIOS compatible.

 

I've dont a lot of searching on the web and have not found a solution. Appreciate your support.

There is NO upgrade for the BIOS.  The best card still available is the EVGA GTX 670 4GB.

Will the manufacturer make a difference in compatibility? If I went with an MSI GTX 670 for example, would I face an issue?
