Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ive had alot of sucess with my computer(HP ENVY 700 210 PC SERIES) being able to handle games at low settings and run relativly smoothly. But ive been noticing that my computer seems run rough and has been known to freeze at times when i attempt to up the graphic settings even slightly in games. I want to upgrade my integrated graphics card to a dedicated one but i dont have skill in dealing with computers.

this is a older system using a AMD a10 6700 cpu and it should have a  AMD Radeon HD 8670D video card which is intergrated into the CPU

you do however have one 16x pci-e slot which can be used for a video card upgrade

since the system only has a 300 watt supply, this will be the limiting factor in choosing a replacement video card

the fastest card that i know will work is a nvidia 750TI this card is almost twice as fast as your current v8670D

if your power supply has a 6 pin Aux GPU power connector, or you use a Molex/sata to 6 pin adapter.... you can use up to a nvidia 1050TI card since you have a UEFI capable Bios and you must not have any other cards or hard drives installed as this will push you over the power draw limit of your power supply

for more info on what the video cards Aux pwr connector looks like look at this link

Are there any power supplies that I could get that fit my case that would allow me to get something stronger?

i personally don't think that upgrading a power supply for this system is worth doing,

at that point i would consider another system that has the video card you want pre installed

however if your current system is using a ATX compatable supply (i don't know so you will have to have a local shop check this)

a quality replacement unit  (seasonic/corsair/pc cooling) of 450/500 watts is around  75.00/100.00

skip non brand name units that promise a 400 watt unit for 30.00 as they are crap and most likely cause various issues

as i said HP does use custom supplies in some systems and they do not follow the ATX standard
