In case you got a single 8GB RAM stick installed, you could purchase an identical (matching) 8GB RAM stick to double your RAM.
So, let's find out what you got: type in: cmd in your Windows search bar, right-click on the Command Prompt App, and left-click on: "Run as administrator", and confirm if asked for.
Then copy/paste/enter:
wmic memorychip get devicelocator, manufacturer, partnumber, capacity, speed, memorytype, formfactor
You should see something like this -using my HP ZBook Firefly as an example:
You should see the part number(s). If it is the case that you got 2 x 4GB RAM sticks, you should at least upgrade to 2 x 8GB RAM, such as this quality purchase example: Crucial RAM 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR4 2400 MHz CL17 Desktop Memory CT2K8G4DFS824A, Green/Black at Amazon....
