Hello,

Please can you assist me in UPGRADE options for my Graphics Card? I currently have the stock graphic card, which is Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB (i think customized from HP). I am currently considering upgrade options and i would like anyone here who can help.

Please bear in mind the form factor available in the PC for upgrade.

Thank You.

@fiiamoako, welcome to the forum.

The power supply unit (PSU) in the computer is only 300W.  Upgrading to a more powerful video card will require a PSU upgrade, also.  Will you be gaming with the computer?

Hi,

Thanks for your response. And yes, i do Game with this PC. I want to be able to game for the next 3 years at most with this PC. I think i will be ready to upgrade the PSU if it will serve my needs for a Graphic card upgrade.

You are welcome, @fiiamoako.  Thank you for the additional information.

Future proofing a computer can get a bit expensive.  Here is a card that will boost your system performance:

I like Corsair PSU's.  I suggest at least 600W.  This will give you some power for peak needs.  The PSU in the link is modular.  They allow you to use only the cables that are absolutely necessary.  This is good for airflow.

If you don't want to buy either of these products, they will give you an idea of what you need.

What's wrong with the 1060 card? It's a high-end, modern card. Should be good for at least 3 years.

Alright.

Thanks very much.

Do you think it will fit into my System okay?

Yes!  It will fit nicely.  The cards dimensions are as follows:

Card Dimensions (L x H) 7.24" x 5.67"
