at  Manufacturer Hewlett-Packard Model 3646h (XU1 PROCESSOR) Chipset Vendor Intel Chipset Model Q45/Q43 Chipset Revision 03 Southbridge Vendor Intel Southbridge Model 82801JB (ICH10) Southbridge Revision 02 BIOS Brand Hewlett-Packard Version 786G7 v01.02 Date 22/10/2009 this motherboard?

What is the exact model number of this old machine?  The BIOS is 2009, and that means a Legacy BIOS.   The GTX 1050 Ti is a UEFI vBIOS card, and is not compatible.  Before you ask,  you can do the research yourself, just google any card and add release date.  Any card after Aug 2012 would be suspect as being UEFI.   Example.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
