My desktop is in great shape, albeit 15 years old. I recently upgraded to an IPhone 15 Pro Max and it uses a USB-C cable instead of the older ones. My question is, I've looked high and low on my tower and am unable to locate a possible port for this so that I can back my phone up to my hard drive. Anyone have any thoughts ( other than buy a new desktop ) ?

@Leesh3 , welcome to the Community.
Your computer does not have a USB-C port. Here are the Motherboard Specifications. If you look at the section titled "I/O Ports and internal connectors"/ "Back I/O ports" you will see the ports that are available.
Here is a guide that may help you solve your problem. You can contact Apple's Tech Support to see if you can use a USB 3.0 to USB-C adapter to connect your computer to their Lightening Cable:
