Hi, Can anyone advise on a card to give me a USBC Thunderbolt port out the back of my new HP PC? I work from home with a HP laptop and have dual screens, mouse, keyboard, etc. through a usbc hub. I would like the same hub in the back of my pc so I can simply swap between computers using the same hub, screens, keyboard erc.

Which Thunderbolt port on your notebook ? Motherboard of your desktop is

                  https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c08266241

It has

  • One PCIe Gen 4.0 x16 slot
  • One PCIe Gen 3.0 x1 slot
  • Two M.2 expansion slots:
    • One M.2 Socket 1, Key A, (Gen 3.0)
    • One M.2 Socket 3, Key M, type 2280/2242 (Gen 4.0)

The best you can get out is the PCIe Gen 4.0 x16 slot which supports up to 32Ggps suitable for Thunderbolt adapter For example
