Product: Pavilion 570-p045xt
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The computer no longer detects UBS drive, whether at the front or the back side ports. I purchased a HP Care Pack Service but I am given a runaround about how to proceed to return the desktop for an exchange.

It might be that the USB drive itself has malfunctioned, have you tried it on any other computer?

The USB drive itself did not malfunction. I am using it on another computer as I write this message. I have gone thru the steps they recommend to check the front and backside USB ports and none of them works. They cannot be removed for further inspection because they are baked into the mother board. The only option left is to send the desktop to HP for expert repair or replacement, but they just sent me here, even though  paid for the HP Care Pack.
