Hi,
I have a HP pc for the first time and it's causing lots of frustration.
Very frequently, my USB peripherals disconnect and reconnect without any human intervention.
My computer have an AMD CPU and now I'm aware maybe HP bios on my machine needs to be updated to include a more recent version of AMD AGESA.
So, I have a couple of questions:
a) How do I know which version HP bios have of AMD AGESA?
b) What is the most recent version of AMD AGESA available for HP costumers? AMD informs AGESA 1.2.0.2 and above includes a fix for the intermittent USB issues related to Ryzen CPUs
Kind Regards

Strange - I looked up your PC and as shown below
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c07074939
it has an Intel CPU, not AMD
USB devices can disconnect "all by themselves" if the connector is not making a good contact, poor cable, or if the device draws too much power from the motherboard.

Hi BeemerBiker,
thank you very much for your help.
Yes, I noticed the official HP website show the CPU present in this model is an Intel. I'm pretty sure it has an AMD CPU.
I used the "HP Support Assistant" tool to retrieve the model of my computer.

Other possibility for this issue is to change some options in the Advance tab at BIOS.
Unfortunately, the default method to enter in the BIOS options does not show the Advance tab.
Does anybody know a way to view the Advance tab in this Desktop series?
Thanks!
