Hello all, I have A HP desktop Slim that has started giving me repeated error messages saying that" it doesn't recognize the last device connected to the USB port and has malfunctioned". My mouse then disappears, and I have to restart by Alt-CTRL-Delete. Odd thing is I do not have anything connected to my USB port and can't even remember when the last time I did. I hope I have this posted in the correct forum. I wasn't sure how to categorize it. Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks , Marc

Hi Kuroi, Amazingly I was able to figure it out myself. It was an issue with the mouse driver. More amazingly I was able to fix it myself.. 72 y o and not the most tech savvy person out here. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to me.  Have a great day. Regards, Marc
