Pavilion Desktop - 570-p017na
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I purchased an HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p017na 18 months ago and have had intermittent issues with the USB ports for a while.  The faults are now increasing in frequency and are stopping the effective use of the PC.  In short, Windows stops the USB ports from working and a yellow triangle (with !) appears in next to the PC icon in control panel.  troubleshooting sometimes sorts the fix after the suggested fix is applied and the PC is restarted.  On a few occasions the driver has had to be uninstalled and then re-installed in device manager.  The error message given when the USB ports stop working is "AMD USB 3.1 extensible Host controller - 1.10 (Microsoft)" which, when investigated further, gives the error messageWindows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)”.

What can I do now?  I don't want to keep doing this as I cannot use the USB ports for longer transfers of data to external drives as they just stop working.
