I have a Desktop PC W/ Windows10 OS. I use my PC mostly on ZOOM APP for online testing with Ham Radio Groups.
I have been using a Turtle Beach Stream microphone, Amazonbasics desktop speakers which have been working OK.
I upgraded to a Headset W/ a boom microphone ( Poly Blackwire 3315 series ) which is not working.
Here is the scenario; Installed according to the manual, installed the updated firmware for the headset, on operation on my PC the Boom Mic is working great when I speak BUT, I am not getting any incoming audio from the speakers, this was confirmed by the settings on the Zoom APP which shows the transmit graph showing the was is working. When I talk into the Mic I should hear myself repeat what I just said, There is no audio that I can hear.
This is the diagnostic checks that I have done, checked sound settings, OUTPUT headset is listed, IN PUT Headset is listed. Next I checked the DEVICE MANAGER / Sound, video and game controllers / Poly Blackwire 3315 is listed.
One other thing that I have noticed, this just started last week, when I plug my USB external drive, in any of my open USB ports, I do not hear a tone from the PC as before.
I will appreciate any suggestions as to a possible fix.
