Hello, I'm wondering why my USB ports are not powered when the PC is off.
I looked at the settings in the BIOS and they should be powered.
Quite annoying when you have to charge a wireless keyboard or mouse...
Cheers!

Hi
sorry, but it's very often like that for computers, especially since nowadays, you have to be careful with that
Many would complain otherwise!
I have an older computer and it's the same thing, however we haven't tried if the mouse can be recharged in standby, that would be the only solution

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I may admit that it uses electricity to charge devices, but it cost a lot more if I have to let my computer on.
Btw, what's the point to have an entry in the BIOS to trigger that if it doesn't work?
In the meantime, I will try with sleep mode and see what it does...
Cheers!

Disabling and then enabling it
Updating the driver
Uninstalling and then rebooting
Unchecking the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power from USB Hub properties
Disabling USB selective suspend setting from Power Options

John

Which option are you talking about exactly?

Ok
I didn't talk about sleep mode options, because I was just looking for the computer to turn off completely
In sleep mode, a priori, if you have the right configurations, it should work
but I have a doubt, for the computer completely off
Is this really mentioned in the option, I don't understand what it means exactly..
But if not, you have tried all the usb ports, maybe there is only the option for certain categories?

I don't know if it will help, can you give me the exact model of the computer?
bios version, just in case..
exemple this one
Back I/O ports
The configuration might vary depending on your model. Any modifications or upgrades might change the configuration, port accessibility, and port functionality.

Ok, let me know in this case
Unfortunately, I think I can't verify this with my computer.
that said, I had not specified, but you have a usb keyboard ..
in the picture you show it says "such as mobile phone"
I wondered precisely, if finally it could not work with a keyboard ..
So can you test with a mobile phone?
