Product: HP Compaq 8000 Elite
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since I have updated my HP Compaq 8000 Elite desktop to Windows 10, several problems occured. Probably after installing updates from Windows.

 

This week my USB mouse stopped functioning and after starting up again, even my USB keyboard stopped working as well as my wireless internet connection ... !!!

 

First I saw an error about PCI driver: which I could solve by searching on this forum. But after that the USB connections remain not accesable. Even if I connect an external hard disk, the device is not recognized anymore.

 

I started up the support functions from HD, but without any result.

 

HELP: how to solve this?

Hi:

 

I have an 8000 Elite CMT and fortunately I didn't have any issues upgrading to W10.

 

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to see if installing the latest Intel W7 chipset installation utility and restarting the PC gets the USB ports to work.

 

Download, unzip and run the setup application...
