Hi guys,
I have finally manage to install WIndows 10 on my HP pavilion 15 on SSD
During the installation, i have formatted the old 1TB drive and install Windows 10 to SSD instead
However, after the installation, it not able to boot with error below
' Your PC/device need to be repair' , A required device cant be connected or cant be access. Error code 0x00000e' You'll need to use recovery tool .
If you dont have installation media, pls contact your pc admin or pc device manufacture'
I actually download the Windows 10 using the tool from Microsoft --> https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10#iconz-install

While I will attempt to assist you, I would, out of respect, ask you the following.
Why did you post your inquiry into the Desktop forums? You own a HP 15 series laptop. Is/was there a problem selecting the proper forum. Was the lineup list to difficult ? Your answer will assist HP in determining WHY this happens so frequently?
Now, on to your present situation/problem.
1) Lacking the full model number of the HP 15 series laptop, an assumption has been make that the particular model supported a 1TB 2.5" laptop hard drive. Hate to make assumptions ! (You know that the lead into -- right ? ).
2) No mention has been made as to the GB size of the 2.5" SSD. An imbedded issue: HP BIOS NRAM requires the same size HD or larger. A small HD will not work without cloning from the original HD.
3) You formatted the original1TB hard drive? WHY? Could you not wait?
4) Re-install the 1TB drive, and then install WIN 10.
When you successfully re-established WIN 10, and it is working. Let me know. It is then that I will explain what is needed. Please answer all my questions without regard to my motive(s). All these questions build a background of your system, and why you got into this situation, so that others may learn.
