I have been trying since yesterday to get a Support request for a laptopo under warranty but the Support page shows the following error when I select the laptop from my SUpport Dashboard: "This service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later".
I need to get this laptop fixed ASAP (it does not turn on, so no way to run any diagnostics).
Thanks,

Hi @ZJBA,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Since your laptop does not turn on, please try the following basic checks to help determine whether the issue is related to the power supply, battery, display, or another hardware component.
- Check the power adapter and outlet: Ensure the adapter is firmly connected to the laptop and wall outlet. Try a different wall outlet and check for any visible damage to the cable or adapter.
- Check the charging indicator: Connect the adapter and observe whether any charging or power lights turn on. If the adapter has an indicator light, check whether it illuminates.
- Disconnect external devices: Remove USB drives, docking stations, memory cards, and other connected peripherals.
- Perform a power reset:
- Disconnect the power adapter.
- If your laptop has a removable battery, remove it.
- Press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the adapter directly and try turning on the laptop. If the battery is removable, leave it out for this test.
- Allow the laptop to charge: If there are no signs of power, leave it connected to the correct HP power adapter for about 15–30 minutes, then try turning it on again.
- Check for signs of startup: When pressing the power button, observe whether the fan starts, the keyboard lights up, any LEDs blink, or you hear beeps. If the laptop appears to power on but the screen remains black, let us know.
Please share your exact laptop model and the results of these checks. Do not open the laptop or remove internal components while troubleshooting.
If the laptop still does not power on after these steps, we can proceed with further options to help you obtain warranty support.
