Hi there. I am gonna recover the bios of my computer through the CMOS. I am looking for the motherboard specifications of this mode of computer and find the CMOS reset steps. However, the product and specification pages don't show any infomation about motherboard, I would like to ask if anyone know where I can find montherboard information of my computer. I would be really grateful if anyone can give me a hand on this. Thanks in advance.

What exactly is the problem with your workstation?
Does the diagnostic dual colored power LED blink?
See quickspecs page 50 for the explanation of the blink code.

The HP document below should help.

As far as I can tell, your PC does not have the Sure Start feature, so follow the generic steps procedure to reset the CMOS.
I have made an internal request for more information on your HP Z1 G8 workstation. I can understand your frustration in not being able to locate information on the motherboard.
A helpful HP SME @IT_WinSec provided some great information.
Here is the manual. See the troubleshooting information there.
