Aloha folks,
Hoping you computer gods can help a rookie computer guy.
I recently acquired my fathers old computer and we are trying to bring a little up to speed with minor upgrades. We did a system reset to clean the whole system. We managed to get everything up and running but the audio drivers are no where to be found. So that's my first question, how do we get our audio drivers back. I've tried to troubleshoot through windows as well as HP's virtual assistant with no success.
The computer in question is a. HP S5-1224 slimline. It was originally equipped with a g640 and 6gb of ram. In hopes to make it a tad better, I've installed an i5 3570 and that seems to be no issue at all. I've purchased a pair of F3-1333C9Q-32GAO in hopes to max the ram capacity on this system. I researched these sticks and there were a 4x8gb 32gb kit so I figured getting 2 from the same kit would be ok since the joshua h61 motherboard has only two slots. I cant get the 16gb to post. I tested each stick individually and the system boots with both 8gb sticks in slot one and slot teo by themselves. I then tried booting with 1 8gb stick and the old 4gb stick and that post as well for a total of 12gb. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
I miraculously tried for the hundredth time to reseat the ram and it actually worked. So no need to help witht he RAM issue lol.
Any help with the audio drivers. Let me know if you need any further information and will try my best to provide.
Thank you in advance,
Justin

hi
We did a system reset to clean the whole system. We managed to get everything up and running but the audio drivers are no where to be found
it says windows 10
this model is not original with this system, there will be no drivers for this version here
(unless you find another one)
We find the same motherboard, in a series still available
Integrated IDT 92HD73E Audio
try :
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71717.exe
https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71717.html
