Family member finally opened storage and found the mentioned desktop, never opened. Gave it to me as a gift.
12 GB DDR3-1600 RAM (1x8+1x4) I do not know why it would come from the factory with two unmatched memory sticks. My plan is to add 4x8 GB matching memory. I need to evaluate the included 2 TB HD for fastest compatible replacement.
Then determine if the AMD 10 CPU and or integrated GPU upgrades are possible. Not sure... I read directions on memory upgrade that said if there were only one CPU then max ram is 16 GB if there are two CPUs then 32 GB.
It has taken nearly 14 hours of downloading windows updates, moving on to DRIVERs and BIOs searches to determine what is needed and what not to touch. Any guidance from those who have this desktop already?

Its specs
https://computers.woot.com/offers/hp-envy-quad-core-desktop-with-12gb-ram-4
1. RAM : It has 12GB now (nothing wrong with 8GB+4GB, just save few bugs), you can upgade to
16GB : replace 4GB with same 8GB on other slot,
32GB : remove 4GB and add 3 more sticks
2. STORAGE: I has 7200rpm already, you can
Replace HDD with a SSHD (not much) or 2.5" SATA SSD. For 2.5" SATA SSD you need an adapter to convert from 3.5" down to 2.5" such as https://computers.scorptec.com.au/computer/2.5%22-To-3.5%22

And adding to @banhien's post, your HP ENVY 700-216 Desktop PC (F3E01AA) as fitted with a Jasmine-R MSI 2AE0 motherboard, can be upgraded with an AMD A10-6800K (4.10 GHz up to 4.40 GHz, 4-Cores, 4-Threads) for just $20 (if you hurry, that is) via this eBay Seller: https://www.ebay.com/itm/226317942973?_nkw=AMD+A10-6800K&epid=166606883&itmmeta=01J6NYW2RY2RM17NACKC....
And yes, this CPU is compatible with your PC.
Kind Regards,
